The Emperor Napoleon's carriage pulled to a stop outside of the Rhine Tavern :eagle: . Strangely, the carriage was being escorted by several hundred cavalrymen of the Anglo-Allied Guard, including the King and Queen's own Guard. Then surprisingly, from among the riders, Sir Muddy appeared on his fine stallion. Dismounting, he entered the Tavern at the quick step. "Huzzah! Huzzah! he shouted. The French army has been defeated near the village of Waterloo, and the Emperor has been captured. His latest assault against the Allied Coalition is at an end!" Come see for yourself. He is just outside. The Tavern occupants rushed for the door in disbelief. But there in the street was, indeed, the Emperor's coach. A score of onlookers tried to approach and confirm it was the Emperor, but the Anglo-Allied Guardsman formed an impenetrable screen and threatened those that tried to get too close.

Meanwhile, Sir Muddy was talking with the barmaid, Helga, as she poured him the finest Belgian ale. "Really, he explained, it all happened so unexpectedly; we charged the French line near La Belle Alliance and saw several batteries of Guard horse artillery on the move. Naturally, we couldn't hold back and overran the guns and found the bugger hiding amongst the abandoned caissons :frenchwink: . Oh, there were a few French Guardsman who gave their lives to defend him but to no avail :frenchangry: . With his capture, the rest of French army just gave up and the Marechal's turned in their swords. It was grand! So grand!"

It's like Ken said. I had Nap riding with a couple batteries of OG, and was surprised by a cavalry charge. OOPs! Nap-man captured. I surrendered. No Nap, no war is my philosophy. I think we'll play a rematch down the road.
