I have added in the old Battle of Raszyn scenario to the Wagram Campaign game. While the battle took place during the time period of Eckmuhl campaign, the artwork from Wagram worked better as it included the Polish and Saxon images. The OB, PDT and scenario files were all updated and included in the Wagram update.

For the NWC database:

Filename: 17H_Raszyn.scn

Scenario Title: 17H. The Battle of Raszyn

16 Turns

Other new scenarios were added into the updates but I have not made a list of them. Sorry but you guys will just have to compare the old game folder with the new one.

No other battles from the Polish campaign will be forthcoming for now. If anyone can check to see if the maps from Eylau contain areas where battles were fought in 1809 I would be happy to convert portions of the maps for use with Wagram. Someone else would have to do the scenario and OB work. Maybe Cezary Pluskwa would be interested?

Hi Bill,

The campaign was short. It lasted for several months. There were few battles and skirmishes. The campaign did not take place in the map areas from Eylau 1807 (Iława Pruska). I mean the area above the Vistula river (Wisła) towards Danzig (Gdańsk) and Konigsberg (Królewiec). There was a short siege of the Thorn fortress (Toruń) only on May 15-19, 1809.

A battle that could be included in a campaign, but whole campaign i.e maps, OOBs, scenarios would last a few months rather.

Thanks, Cezary. I remember reading that the battles in the early going went the Austrian's way but later on the Polish got the upper hand ...

I will look over the links ...

Maybe some Polish fanboys could gather and make a campaign on their own?
When I see that the great Waterloo scenarios of Hans Boersma got added officially, such a new & complete Polish campaign for 1809 would surely finds it's way too as official add-on to one of the 1809 titles.
