Understand how to damage bridges when in Phased play (During Melee Phase, just melee the bridge hexes...). Got that part, but how do you do it when in Turn play? How do you "designate the Bridge Hex" to be meleed if you will (or if you want to melee bridges, do you need to play in the "Phased play mode"?

There's no requirement to be using phased play in order to melee a bridge Josef. In turn based play a bridge can be meleed at any time during your turn by designating a bridge and completing a melee as normal.

Sorry for this follow-up, but how do you "designate the bridge" for melee??? I know its probably simple, I'm just missing it

Just select the bridge Joe, nothing more to it than that. After that select the Melee dropdown menu and select 'Begin Melee'. You will receive the message 'No attacking units have been selected'. Answer O.K. to that and then highlight your attacking unit and 'Add to melee' from the dropdown menu and your unit is attacking and ready to go. Hope this helps.

Thank You so much! Just tried it and it works. Thanks again. It was frustrating trying to figure it out...

Now if you can explain why routed units retreat to the enemy side of the battle field and not towards their own lines. Very frustrating.

They finally realized what cause fighting for is really worth it! :frenchlol:

Seriously, it should usually depend on the enemy units nearby, depending on their positions this may indeed lead to movements not in the direction of the own line.
