Eventually this series will be "brought up to speed" with the majority of the rest.
Face it: with all of the game series for JTS, and limited time for John Tiller, there is only so much he can do. I would love to see a programmer added to the team that can do things like that. No new programming .... just add in things like this for ALL of the series that would round them all out to be very similar as far as editors, etc.
JTS is an amazing company in regards to its longevity and what it has supplied to the wargame community. No computer gaming company like it out there.
For boardgaming there is GMT games ... some of the others come to mind as well. Decision Games has been around for a long time too. MMP - Multiman Publishing with all of the ASL modules, etc.
A good friend of mine told me that you cannot get the old SPI games on VASSAL because the owner of the rights (Decision Games I think) will not allow the games to be added. Such a shame. I loved the old SPI Quad games and would play them if they were available. Westwall Quad was fun. Island War Quad ..... the first Modern Battles Quad was good. Second one was unbalanced ....
