A toast to GdB Ed Blackburn for besting me at The Battle on the Mincio from Campaign Marengo. Ed did a great job of denying me the crossings and while I did eventually take them on the first day, he had held me off long enough to deny me the key objectives in the west.
So lift up your glass to this fine officer and its just another fun battle I have had with him to tuck away in memory.
