Well, first they get into Barrett's wine cellar, and pull out the really cheap rotgut, and send it over to the British troops at Waterloo so they are too blasted to shoot straight. Then, when everyone has the mother of all hangovers, they sneak across and bayonet Wellington in his bed!

Seriously, I've only seen it once myself, and though it was from Barrett himself, I'm not sure I know all the details. Short form is that's a full bore, all or nothing strike to break the Anglo-Allied army within the first 8 turns, breaking down most all the light infantry into skirmisher stacks, using the Cav as a battering ram, and pushing through any ZOC hole that can be found.

I believe there is info in the Ecole Library - aka Barrett de Brienne Biblioteque de Guerre. I did, however, save most of the BTE files from the Muddy-Barrett match, but I'd have to look for the password. I also have the emails with Barrett's running commentary.

As Gary points out it is an all out aggressive attack meant to destroy the Anglos before the arrival of the Prussians. The Anglos can only fight for survival and pray for on time arrival of the Prussians. Should the Prussians arrive on time, they can make the over extended French a bit uncomfortable.

It is relentless and viscious, not unlike Barrett at 4am and only 1 Guiness left at the bar. It is not advisable for the weak of heart. It does take advantage of historical hindsight (we know the French can't sit on their hands), uncanny foresight (we know the Prussians will arrive at xx:00 earliest and likey closer to xx:00 and in these hexes, and the weaknesses of the old Battleground system (the limited scope of the map, ZOC kills, etc).

And from the get go, when Barrett announced it, he always viewed it as a challenge to the Allies to come up with a solid plan to counter it.
