The All Armies Challenge is off and running. We got started last weekend and have gotten through 1.5 turns so far. Not bad for a MP game with 4 players on each side!

All house rules were dealt with by the CinCs of each side - John Corbin for the French and Marek Hlavka for the Russians - and after orders were issued and each Wing Commander drafted up a set of orders for his troops we got started.

Russians move first.

The terrain makes visual sightings difficult at the beginning. All troops start out of LOS to each other.

As the battle progresses I will post an update about the fighting.

The names of the towns on the map are of folks that Charlie Cutshall had for playtesters, family members and of course there is Tillerovia!

After the battle is over we will compare orders and see how the teams chose to interpret their CinC's orders. No change of victory conditions will be made from this. Its just a method of seeing how each side blundered their way to glory!

If the format works I plan on helping set up a second game after this one is over.

Just check out the thread in the Challenge board and you will find who is in charge and who is playing from which army.

We couldnt get any Anglo-Allied or Prussian members to join up.

Thus its:

1 Austrian
3 Russians

vs.

4 French (noone from the AdR signed up - one Guard member was a former member of the AdR so I guess that counted)
