Also, the German translation of prince that you are looking for is <i>Fürst</i> rather than <i>Prinz</i>. The English (borrowing from the French) have only one word for both, but the Germans make a difference between the sovereign ruler of a country, like in <u>The Prince of Wales</u> or <u>The Prince of Monaco</u>, and the son of a king, grandduke or duke, like in <u>Prince of the United Kingdom</u> (that would be Prince William, the son of the Prince of Wales). The former is <i>Fürst</i> in German, the latter is <i>Prinz</i>. So yes, <u>Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm</u> (that will be your future king, Friedrich Wilhelm IV.), but say <u>Der Fürst von Anhalt-Dessau</u>, i.e. a sovereign prince and ruler of his country.

Hope that helps. [:)]

- <i>"Oh yes, English gold ..."</i>

It makes sense to pay someone else to do most of the fighting ... and to get them to fight Boney on mainland Europe.

As for English food - it tastes good enough if you grow your own vegetables. But Italian cuisine is probably my favourite. Perhaps the French created all their sauces to cover up the taste of rotten horse flesh!

Gunpowder serves the same purpose more easily I hear. But that may be a French recipe too. Very practical people are following our Emperor, one has to admit. [8)]

Right Marechal Walter, In Prussia we speaking only about "Belle Alliance" and not Waterloo. But Wellington was more a genius in Public Relations than on the battlefield. And now all the world speaking about Waterloo. I'm sure you know the big differences between his reports and the reality of the battle.

Sorry I was taught in English schools for a while. [:D] And yes we have discussed the titles and stuff and I took some of your suggestions ie the arrangement in the name, and still kept some of my own. I know it's not historical, but eh, I like it for now. Besides it would be sort of a pain to go back and rearrange everyones name.

Oh, your head will probably spin once I stop using lands and proviences and start using cities or combining proviences...lol. [:D]

This is one of the huge mistakes that Talonsoft made. The Prussians used skirmishers just fine. You will notice that the Prussians are more accurate in the new HPS Waterloo game (shoudl be belle alliance of course...)[:D]

Ah, Mr. Scotty Bowden had the Prussians wrong too but one of my friends used to tell me to just use one stand of 3 castings as skirmishers which used to torch one of our friends alot. Too bad my Prussian friend would say - we are using them!

Glad to see Charlie and Rich doing this in the Waterloo game. 'bout time!
