I am playing a game where my opponent is using skirmishers to disrupt me every move.

Why are 700+ infantry barely winning melees to 70-100 skirmishers and I am getting disrupted everytime!

Why aren't the odds stacked against this kind of tactic?

1st of all, every turn I am getting disrupted and lose about the same amout of guys. I cannot believe the engine allows these lopsided melee with results favoring skirmishers 90% of the time.

And even worse when I have Skirmishers in front of infantry the one skirmisher unit loses the melee but disrupts all my troops! This is very bad loophole for the games and is very disappointing for HPS.

My next game I will have to have my 1st house rule, as this kind of play is not only a joke, but should not even be happening with the odds. A 1-7 odds should not be disrupting me everytime. Yes, once in a while I should be beaten. But I have now seen about 50 such moves and have yet to win one.

Loss of 3 to defender and 22 to attacker
Attacker loser
Effective attacking force of 103 (actual 103)
Effective defending force of 1024 (actual 1024)
Modifier of 10/20

I kicked his ass, yet he disrupts entire hex! Gimme a break!

Anyone else seen this?
