Having installed a second copy of NiR to use the New Settings, I also downloaded the files there for the Polish battles (Eylau, etc) and made a 3rd installation (the joys of having a hard drive far too big). Apparently these aren't the only files needed...

I did a search and see this was discussed back in November as a couple of people were looking for them. Are the files available on a site now, or can someone send them to me? I have a fast connection, so size doesn't matter (no comments from the gallery!).

Of course, if the next HPS campaign turns out to be 1806-07 it'll all be for nought...

You can download the files from: http://komikor.narod.ru/eylau.html
Just tried them, the links is not dead.

The site is on Russian, but all you have to do is to click on the file names in a left column. When you get them drop me a line to alextart@mail.ru and on Thursday (after my last exam) I will send you a translation of instruction for use of file splitter and installing the game.

Btw I am looking to start NIR-New Settings on Thursday so check opponent finder forum if you are interested.
Eylau is next on my battle list

Sean,

I have the Eylau maps/files but not the other Polish ones. I can put them on a disc if you need them. Let me know if you do.

I have Friedland and Golymin too. You will need separate installs for those games however. I don't really recommend either.

As for Eylau there are a number of oob's and pdt's for that one. So make sure you and your opponent have the same ones installed. I'd recommend the New Settings version.

Hi Antony,

It makes life so much easier if you can put those on disk and drop them by some time. Thanks!

Now to figure out why the Russian infantry icons don't show up...only the bases!! The French are mostly fine, so not sure yet what I've done wrong...

You will have to carefully match oob, pdt with scenario or you will get that effect.
