Agree with Kennon, the confederacy could not last long with the loss of either Atlanta or Richmond. As the two areas that held the bulk of the machinery of war when both were finally lost the war was essentially over, only to last long enough for the dust to settle. |

Yes, both were great series, I have band of Brothers on disk and I believe that both series have just been released as a package deal boxed set...not sure of the cost. These two and Saving Private Ryan are on my list of excellent WWII movies. |

Bill, ACW artillery normally had six horses per gun/limber, four when horses were hard to come by. The limbers were “steered” by riders on the left side horses.
