Folks,
I had someone ask me and so I am asking it here, what scenarios in the various HPS/JTS games would you recommend for multiplayer play. For 2x2 play.
I gave my observations on what games overall would be good, but need help with specific scenarios.
Thanks! |

AGEOD is moddable. There are a lot of Mods people created for it on their forums: http://www.ageod-forum.com/forum.php At least there was. Jim - Windows 7 and AGEOD's system is somehow messed up. I think it has to do with how Windows 7 has accounts and read/write permissions and AGEOD I don't think ... |

Jim....file exchange yup. I have Windows 7 now and when I saved the game, it didn't save to any directory I could find. When I sent a file, my opponent sent his back and it was like he never made any moves. The system in my opinion is what kills the interest in the game for me and I am sure others. ... |

You know Jim I'd play AGEOD's Civil War more if their PBEM wasn't so screwed up. I am hoping it'll be in better shape in this new one....
Mark - I prefer Forge of Freedom actually, a bit more simple but still robust. Plus I like the visuals better too.... |

Gettysburg itself will take a while to get through. The Valley stuff is rather far away. You'd be better off going to Spotslyvania and Chancellorsville/Wilderness, but those are kind of hodge podge due to all the growth in the area. Stick with Gettysburg, Antietam & Harper's Ferry. You'll fill m... |

Antietam is much different than Gettysburg, very quiet. I actually like it, but there are no fun "tourist traps" though. The Wax Museum of the Battle is always a classic to visit. There is a really good building that houses the hand painted miniatures of the battle. A 1/2 hour presentation... |
