My number was 352, but I was on an NROTC scholarship, so the high number was wasted on me. If I'd known you guys back then, I might have traded.[8D]

Hi, I won as the yank in a maneuver game. Spent the first half of the game attacking and the second half defending. My opponent made some mistakes. One was giving me an opportunity for flank shots. Another was getting into a firefight with him in the open and me in the woods. Another was moving smal...

Hi, General,

I think we have some navy guys here. I was a Marine. Probably haven't heard from the squids cause the ones I remember were so huge if you borrowed their uniform you'd have to go as s shelter instead of a sailor. [:D]

Here is another AAR for GGWBTS that I found fascinating. It is a long one, but a nailbiter, between Jon Pyle and Joel Billings. They have completed the game to the end of 1864. Lots of good info there.

I agree with General Laub that routed units shouldn't have skirmish capability, and it could very well be a bug. Personally, I would have preferred a mounted cavalry skirmish option where the skirmishers would have to be deployed and would cost the extra movement point, just like infantry. The pract...

Hi, Brett,

Thanks again for an excellent review. The price is indeed a dealbreaker, but possibly our library might get it. I read once that Chester Nimitz, who grew up near Fredricksburg, Texas, didn't learn to speak english until he was 8 yoa.

Since HPS went to the melee formula that weights melees in favor of the defender, I don't see it near as often as in the old Battleground games. I don't have anything against pinning, but I think disruption plays that role in preventing units from meleeing.

Hi, General,

I duplicated the conditions and it happened for me too. I recommend notifying tech support.

Hi, Ernie,

If you get down to 3D you can see the bridge. It is one of those indestructible bridges they had over every creek in the Civil War.[:)]
