Hello, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at TCIII, some for the second or even third time. As a side note, as many of you know, this is a co-sponsored event with HMGS- Historical Miniature Gaming Society. They are a great group and will welcome all TCIII players to try their games for FREE.... |

In short, a 40-1 ratio is not possible, unless: You're playing with isolation rules and hard ZOCs causing whole units to be eliminated in single attacks. But in normal ranged fire exchanges, a 40-1 is not possible.. Once I played a joke on one of my playtesters because he would always beat me. I cha... |

Bill, As you know, replacement leaders are auto assigned when the named leader list is exhausted. This has been tested for ten years, or perhaps I don't understand your question, which is entirely possible. [:D] And if you're asking about about SIC leaders, yes they too get promoted. Lt. Col. After looking at the game file, both Polk and Stewart are present, so only the senior commander will have a command radius, so yes, if Polk is removed, Stewart will be promoted and have command radius. In order to address the specifics of General Moore's post, he would need to send a game file to myself or HPS support.

One of the key statements in this thread is the 20 minute turn. No one said that 1000 men are firing at exactly the same time. A good infantrymen could fire 3x per minute, so in theory, that would be 60,000 shots if everyone was firing at the same time with the same skill level. Certainly that's not... |
