Sir, If it ain't broke don't fix it. I like the distintion between a battle and a maneuver. I really enjoy the fighting the opposition. Knowing that I am fighting for the true cause "Freedom" motivates me in my battles.[:D] In my maneuvers, frequently against a new Lt, I take the time to point out w...

Sir, Opportunity fire: Should be at half strength, but any one who did not fire in Opportunity fire should be allowed to fire all or the remaining strenght at the nearest target. So every one who can fire gets to fire at some point. Maybe even have quality of unit effect the distance they fire at. A...

Dear 2lt Chris Trog,

Head on over to the Quartermaster's Depot. You will need a pass word to get in. See your Division commander he should have it.

He said in a recent post here that he will be going on vaction soon and to expect some turns then. Eagerly waiting his return to the battle field. BG Jo...

Gentlemen, There is no way of knowing this before the battle is over. I know my choice U1 or U2 or U3 but I do not know the Confederate choice C1 or C2 or C3. To look at this gives me information I would not have otherwise known, such as the Confederate battle options and the described plans of atta...

Gentlemen, Trying to determine the title for a campaign inorder to register it. I have opened the BTO File in note pad and read the second line, but the title does not agee with the listing and there are no Numbers like C1U2 on the note pad file. For example I read Mizner VS Armstrong Sept 19 1962 a...

Frank, You might try Ebay, that is where I sold all my WWI and WWII Arffix(?) HO 1/48 scale troops. I also, have about 1000 civil war troops (hand painted). I use them to play with my son using the rules from Battles and Leaders (1981 Yoquinto). After he gets older I will probably sell them on ebay ...

Rich, I preferr the two gun sections, but not for historical accuracy. I favor it because of the Crew Killed factor. I can see a well placed volley taking out one or two gun crews, but find it hard to imagine a volley taking out a six gun battery. The rout situaiton seems to be fine the way it is, t...
