If First Bull Run doesn't strike your fancy for some reason, suggest a different battle. I have all the Battleground games.

Seeking Reb opponent for either historical First Bull Run or historical Antietam. I have never fought either battle and am willing to negotiate options, as long as MDF is turned off. Three to four turns per week. If interested, send courier to dlcenters{at}sbcglobal(dot)net.

If you are interested in a battle at Second Bull Run, First Bull Run or Antietam (or somewhere else), then send your courier to my tent at dlcenters(at)sbcglobal[dot]net with your proposed options. I can do two to three moves per week.

I agree that the idea has potential. It's certainly worthy of further discussion. What is the rationale for grandfathering the current rank held? I'm not implying I think it's a good or a bad idea, just curious about the rationale behind it.

I purchased the game and have enjoyed playing it, especially multiplayer. Playing real time is obviously much different from the HPS and TS turn-based games, and each system has its advantages and disadvantages.
