When the Union established the Corps system, the I Corps, AOP was commanded by Irwin McDowell and provided the link between the Valley and Washington and was stationed east of the Shenandoah Valley. It remained there when the rest of the AOP moved south by boat for the Peninsula campaign. When Pope'... |

Hi Tim, Are you still looking for a Yank? If so I will be happy to accommodate you. I've got all of the games you've mentioned but would be especially interested in the Vicksburg Campaign, I would have a go at any that you prefer. My only request would be that we play a phased game with Manual Defen... |

I use the 2D mode as I can see more of the battlefield and can get a better feel for what's going on around me. Occasionally I switch to 3D for the artistic value, but only rarely. I too am an old board gamer so enjoy and am used to the 2D mode. Brig. Gen. Bill Spitz 3rd Division I Corps Army of the... |

I'm currently playing the scenario as the first battle in a campaign game, using turn based play with the new alternate separate melee phase turned on. Based on what historically happened at Cedar Mountain, the victory conditions are incorrect. My biggest concern is that the Union is the first playe... |

Though I haven't been able to get WAV files to work from non HPS games with the games, I have been able to interchange all of the songs from any HPS game with any game in the that has an established MUSIC FOLDER. Try copying the songs from Corinth, for example, to the Peninsula Music Folder, and the... |

Thank you Rich, et al for this one. Wow, not only Antietam, but both Bull Runs, South Mountain, and even more. Excellent choice for the next entry into the ACW. The new optional rules sound great. It could even get me to try a turn based game instead of the phases game. One question - will this new ... |
