I have to agree with Pat. If I am suppose to be the commanding general in a campaign why would my units be fixed. In campaign mode all battles should in effect be a meeting engagement. With campaign battles having fixed units we are to a degree limited to the historical version of events i.e. Murfre...

During this period I have a small window of opportunity (1 or 2 days) to do my own thing. Do any of you have a recommendation for an ACW Battle field I could visit that is near ...

Dark blue is not fordable, light blue is. You will find fords as a light blue section in a dark blue creek/river. Sometimes where a river/creek runs though a lot of woods it can be hard to define which is which. I have been caught out a few times by not recognizing a ford or the fact that a river ha...

Suh's, Is there anyway of stopping auto defensive fire by selected units? I know that normally if you want this option you have to select manual defensive fire or change a unit’s formation. But this slows the game up or changing formation has its drawbacks. What I want to do is give selected units...

I agree, LG Nathan B Forrest's boys normally used pistols (each man usually carried two) in mounted cavalry actions, where as with Union cavalry it was normal to us a sabre. This should be recognised in the rules.
