The graphics at the Old Banshee website are really great and I would love to use them for my games. Will installing the graphics and modified OOBs have other than just graphical effects to the games? Is it ok to have them installed if my opponents have not? Thanks in advance for your help. The Old ... |

In the linked campaigns they do - the exact rate is set in the campaign - for example in Vicksburg it is 28% -so that if you lose a unit entirely you get it back in the next scenario (assuming it is present in that scenarios OOB file ) you get the unit back at 28% of its full strength amount. Howeve... |

Worms are funny things :) ... I remember when I was naive enough to join an mmpog that claimed it was the ultimate wargame (spoiler- it wasn't...) - I was responsible for interviewing candidates applying for my group- and one of the questions I had was if so and so had experience with wargames - I g... |

The sound of MG Elkins opening a can of worms ... tiptoes quietly away. . . ;) -Vassal is a PBEM platform (it might also involve the ability to play live) boardgames- (well board wargames for sure, not sure if others have been adapted for it -but I imagine pretty much anything might work there). It ... |

I seem to remember that the answer was given sometime in 2010 or 2009 - which was - the OOBs will be unlocked when they are done with the series. No commitment on a map editor -but frankly when you got a map that stretches from the Potomac to Richmond at 125 yards a hex (and there are others like th... |

There is a reason that the CSA failed to retain Missouri even after winning at Wilson's Creek. Sure it probably was Fremont ran the show out there for a while. |

Looking to play something from the western theater to get my feet wet again. Ozark Shiloh Corinth Vicksburg (taken) Chickamauga Atlanta Franklin Any campaign is ok, am open to maneuvers with USA opponents as well (no worries on that score- but it was too wordy to fit into the subject line). I would ... |

Noah:
If you don't find anyone and are ok with playing for some maneuver points, drop me a line at steve at trauth116 dot com I'm ok with any scenario (but the 1300+ turn one) any side, and any optional rules.

Fwiw - the CSA achilles heel, artillery-wise in the historical Gettysburg scenarios (in Campaign Gettysburg) is their ammo levels. Less than judicious useage by the Southern player in the 3 day battle results in their side having bingo ammo -and then they are dead meat. |

Cam - good means foolhardy in the morale rating sense ... in fact I might consider taking up Mr Meyer's offer even though it was to another gentleman. But, well, we'll see how things work (not much time for PBEM... the web keeps me too busy.). :D Aside from that, I do have a planning map finished fo... |

FYI: The Monster Scenario needs to be viewed in the context that there is a .txt file that are supposed to be required House Rules. (If it matters it prints out to 5 pages) - if players don't use these rules some units ( particularly artillery) will end up being represented twice in many situations.... |

Great memories. I still play the SPI Quad games FTF once in a blue moon. The ACW titles were fair, but the Nappys and WWIIs were quite good. Decision Games is re-releasing some of those in the Folio Games Series, although I have to warn you that the rule revisions are a bit uneven. Be prepared to f... |
