Bah, humbug! As usual, I'll just get some lumps of coal in the morning. At least it's a cold winter and so I can use 'em to warm up to a story Christmas morning about a baby in a manger. I have to admit that I'm more familiar with it than I'd like since that's about the only part that we see on the battlefield as he runs away, but it is good news that I'm getting my boot back (if he'll continue to pass it - and since I'm no expert on alligators, he is a "he" isn't he). Congratulatio... |

"Would anyone like to join Major General Welleman and I for a game of "Pin the Tail on the Alligator"?" That wouldn't be challenging since that alligator has an *ss on him as big as the Merrimac. You do remember that the Merrimac caught fire and exploded so don't be holding no flames near the rear o... |

Since no one in ACWGC saves/controls custom scenarios any longer, we are told to put them at Gamesquad at http://forums.gamesquad.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=7 As you can see by going to that link, you included some but not all of the HPS Gettysburg custom scenarios. My scenarios are 4 Wheatfiel... |

Al, it's on the club link as the ACWGC Automated System and on the Link Express as the ACWGC Department of Records. http://www.acwgcrecords.net/ but Al, you'll need a userid and password to get in. You probably have one already but you'll need to contact your Army Commander if you don't know what it... |

Ernie, how are you coming up with the additional HPS Gettysburg scenarios since you are including only some of them but not all of them? I have always registered custom scenarios where we've been told to do so (well, except that I finally gave up at the ACW Cartography Office) and would like to have... |

Not that it’s not still fun but it was different back in the ol’ days. Mark and I played every scenario on the Gettysburg, Shiloh, and Bull Run BG disks plus at least half of the Chickamauga scenarios. Lee Gast and I played every Antietam scenario (is Lee still in the club?). Bill Peters gave so... |

From Wikipedia: The Appomattox was originally named the Empire. She was chartered by the Virginia State Navy under Captain Milligan, to tow blockships into position to obstruct the channels of the Elizabeth River around Norfolk in May 1861. In that same month she twice sailed under a flag-of-truce w... |

The Club Newsletters posted at the ACWGC HQ site provide some names for you as they go back almost to the beginning of the club. Of course, the founder of the club, Pierre Desruisseaux, is prominent and another name that has come back around for more punishment is Roger Hulinsky. You'll probably rec... |
