I'm playtesting Gary Grigsby's new design, "War Between the States" in the alpha version. Matrix is now looking for beta testers if anyone is interested. I think this is going to be a good game. Here is a link to the thread calling for playtesters. http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1582166 ...

If I have it right you get points for captured guns just like you would if you had destroyed them. If you spike them and continue to hold them you only get half the points. The guns can be recaptured and the points lost.

Just click on a hex next to the body of water you want to cross and then right click on the info box and you can see if it a stream, creek, etc. You can cross streams, everything else needs a ford or a bridge.

We probably thought it was some poor Georgia farmers bed sheet and appropriated it while we were marching as we please through Georgia. Of course it must have been a rare Georgia farmer to have a bed sheet.

That must be the one you keep in the office. Where's the one you Rebels use in the field, you know, the all white one you use to surrender with. [8D]

If you really want to have total freedom forget the campaign and start with the 407 turn scenario where you start with all forces unfixed and total freedom to maneuver as you see fit.
