as of right now, I am not a member of CCC.

with that being said...........I have a question about 1776 bmp units.

are there any upgrades that change the bmp unit files to more traditional looking 2d counters.

such as those seen in the Civil War games.

There is a folder called "Map" directly under the main game folder (like "Campaign Gettysburg") which contains all the graphic files. When you copy the new files in you should get the warning that it is replacing an existing file since there should be a matching file with the sa...

is this the same Whalen that the club had problems with......mutiple names?

I had issues when he was named "Robert" and he had one other name....Fred Dileo I believe.

recently purchased "Gallic Wars" from HPS.
Has anyone played this game or the others in the series?
Has anyone any info on mods or scenarios or any info at all.

my initial impression of the 2d counters is they could have done better.

hard to believe, that in this the 150 aniversary of the Civil War the best idea hollywood could come up with was a movie about vampires and Lincoln.

and even more shocking is...............people are actually lining up to buy tickets.

I'm sure we have a few members that bought this game. Would someone offer their opinion, how is it? I have only played it once as the British. I was not impressed.....Poor graphics and a dull game sequence. I thought it was tedious and slowwww. I don't think it captures the desperate situation thos...
