1. From the help file: "If the Quality level is displayed in Yellow, it indicates that the unit’s morale is reduced for some reason such as fatigue or ammo level." For leaders it means they failed their command check. 2. I guess you might know the quality of an identified regiment/brigade by its r...

"39% Dixie. You are definitely a Yankee" Hardly scientific or relevant if you're not American but still interesting. I'm a northerner at heart, but that's north of England[:D]. I rarely, if ever, take the time to target lone leaders. However, it would be unrealistic for leaders to be immune to danger and stray shots so I am not against it in principle. I do target stacks of routing units which appear to be stacked with an important leader though and once killed a reb by th...

Sean, I've heard that that can be very distressing. I hope it goes away very soon. Take it easy mate and let me know if I can help out in any way - I'm only a few minutes away if you need anything. Col Bier, Don't let the graphics put you off these fine games. If they are a problem for you then check out some of the mods. I use Rolf Hall's regimental scale graphics and various terrain mods. I use Atle Jenssen's ground tiles and some trees, roads, water etc. that appear in various mod packs (mu...

Hi Ozgur, It's quite simple and works for both the Talonsoft and HPS games. 1. Somewhere on your hard drive create a folder for each game title. This folder must have exactly the same name as the game folder on the original game cd (e.g. BGN, BGG, Battleground Chickamauga, Campaign Corinth, etc.). 2...

I'd certainly agree with Gen Walter's comments on Corinth. I've played two thoroughly enjoyable campaigns and will certainly play another one in the future. I really can't fault the game. Gettysburg is superb too. Sorry I haven't played the others yet so can't give a broader perspective. [url="http:...

I think Atle is correct. The screenshots also have the old floating button toolbar. I seem to remember that from the very early days. The operating system looks like win 95 too.
