i only have Corinth but love Campaigns. if you have Corinth we could do battle and if not when i pick up another title of the ones listed i will keep you in mind. i have an interest in doing a Chickamauga one as it seems to be a really balanced one out of the all the HPS titles.

i was considering the case of the Yankee officer who is undefeated. i thought i saw recently where he accepted an invite to battle and he asked that the battle be a balanced/meeting engagement. so i guess he will not play battles where it would be a disadvantage for him. that made me wonder if there...

i really was not making a distinction between the campaigns and the shorter scenarios but i really like the full campaigns since every battle can be quite different than playing just battles. i do not mind long turns or lengthy battles. i am interested in having as large of a pool of Officers as pos...

what is the most popular titles of the HPS Campaign games with the ACWGC members? i am not so much interested in "what is your favorite" but i am looking for "what do you think overall the club membership plays the most". i would like to know if you could put that into a list wit...

Suh, I saw you posted you would interested in a campaign for Corinth which is the only HPS title i have at this time. i am very interested in campaigns even if it takes a year or more to finish. i feel in "battles only" gamers will do things that in a real world they would not do since in ...

I recently was playing the CSA side in a maneuver using the optional Art capture rule. the Union player fired 4 guns which was 2 batteries so in game terms it was 2 shots but all fired at the same time. the Union guns targeted a 2 gun battery of the CSA and it destroyed both guns with that volley. t...

thanks for the input but i would like to continue with discussion on this after i make some remarks here. lets take historical Corinth for example. if the CSA was to conquer the Coring the defenses there could be a large number of guns that the Union might have lost especially emplaced guns. the CSA...

i would like other officers input on this. i ran a test on using the HPS game Optional Artillery capture rules. in theory i like having this rule but the actual operation of how it really works make it so i do not want to use it. in theory it is supposed to let you capture the guns so you can use it...
