I've 'slept on it' and woke up very worried that delaying reinforcements could unbalance many scenarios. Essentially, units are hidden 'beyond the edge of the world' and a large force can be built up that then emerges in the flank/rear of an opponent at a convenient time. The converse situation is ...

Hi Karl. I wanted to see if anyone would give a response before offering my own, and I think you've put enough effort into the genuine curiosity of your question that it warrants at least some response. Please excuse some generalities when it comes to names as I want this to be an objective response...

Tonight I want to notify the membership that I have tendered my resignation to the president of the club as commandant of the combined training academy. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2.5 years at the helm and taking on the challenge of combining two different academies with decades of training differences...

Still, it's rather academic. In all the games I've played only two have had Rout Limiting unchecked. It's a good rule for simulation but almost no-one will play with it unchecked, even in 'Equal Force' battles. It's a great rule for a better simulation but rarely used. It's a terrible rule as demon...

With so many challenges to preservation these days it is always nice to hear of a victory! https://www.battlefields.org/preserve/celebrate-our-victories/14-acres-gettysburg Our resident Gettysburgian(?) Michael Barycki will have to head over and take some photos of the new battlefield land sometime...

When the Dean of Cadets, Nick Kunz, returns from his leave, I am hoping we can match you up with Fred Harvey in the Lt's Cup for a battle of the Harveys!

Welcome sir, welcome. It seems my Brother, Toke Riggs, is training you. My thought for you sir is to keep your greenbacks secured secretly and when General Riggs takes you to the Tavern, watch his bar maneuvering at the time to pay up. He's a magician in taking your money, even though her has great...
