I'd like to know how you get on and off of that beast! Or does Cam just follow Nick around so that he can offer his shoulders as staging?

I have seen them use a pile of dead Yankees as a ladder to get on and off. That's the real reason we concentrate our fire at certain points.

I am all questions this weekend. The User's Guide says: When Morale Checks are applicable, they are determined based on a probability using the given loss as: loss / (loss + 25). Thus, a unit that takes a loss of 25 men has a 50% chance of requiring a morale check and a unit that takes a loss of 100...

From the Gettysburg Parameter Data: Confederate Leader Loss Values Fire Wound: 2% Fire Kill: 3% Melee Wound: 3% Melee Kill: 4% Melee Capture: 5% How do you read this? Does it mean a 10-man unit firing at a leader has the same 2% chance to wound him as a 500-man unit firing at a leader? It would seem...

So if we take 500 average quality men with Rifles (effectiveness 4 at a range 1) and fire into an unlimbered battery in an adjacent hex it would create a Standard Fire Value of 2000 (500 x 4). The Low End Combat Result would be 10 (= 5 x 2000 / 1000) and the High End Combat Result would be 50 (= 25 ...

When an artillery unit is fired upon by small arms fire, there is a probability that the artillery unit will become Uncrewed. This probability is determined by the Crew Kill Parameter Data Value. For a given Crew Kill value of C and a nominal strength loss of L from small arms fire, then: Probabili...

I'd love a picture of a snowman on Cemetery Hill wearing a pair of bermuda shorts, a straw hat, and with a bottle of eggnog in his hand.

Let's see that Yankee ingenuity put to work now...

Usually the scenarios are pretty straight-forward about starting locations and entry points. I start from there. Most opponents will take main roads from point A to point B (usually where my starting positions and entry points are) and so I can bet the farm we will meet somewhere on that main road. ...
