Unfortunately this bug is still present under certain circumstances in 4.01. Bug report went to WDS. No cheatin'. Y'all. I wasn't sure what you were talking about when you posted a couple of months ago so I said nothing. However, I just stumbled across a LoS problem which I'm sure must be the one y...

I can advise that for this year only another Public Holiday has been added to our tally of 14 to take it to 15.

Thursday, 22 September 2022 shall be a national day of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I'm leaning toward getting Shiloh, Antietam, Penninsula, and Chickamauga. Chickamauga interests me recently since I live not too far from that area and passed by the battlefield site not long ago. Of course I guess I should probably just go an add one more and g...

Like almost every other citizen in the Commonwealth, I've never lived under another monarch, it's been amazing to note the changes. Very early yesterday morning here there was a recorded video statement from our Prime Minister regarding the matter. Last night a 96-gun salute (one for each year of he...

The Queen is dead, long live the King. Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God Queen of Australia and Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth [and many other titles too numerous to mention here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_titles_and_honours_of_Elizabeth_II ] has pass...

Ha, that's the 'luck of the Irish' for you. Our Labour Day is on 3rd October (it's one of fourteen Public Holidays for our State this year). If only I was in Victoria then I would also get a Public Holiday for Melbourne Cup Day (a major horse race on the first Tuesday in November). However, I never ...

When I saw Gen Strickler's tournament was going to use Ozark and Forgotten Campaigns- I had a quick browse of Ozark yesterday - and had a look into this one. As I usually do these passes in solo hotseat mode, I noticed something a little odd. CSA's Quantrill unit (a 33 man cav unit) was armed with ...

WDS has now confirmed that the game titles are not correctly displaying losses for the Union in game titles checked. [Since my original posting I has also noticed in an Antietam scenario the Victory Dialog does not show any Supply Losses but does show Supply Point Losses as they accrue (at a rate o...

I can't find any reliable reviews of that work although it appears to be an easy to read broad overview of the conflict. In a preview of several pages that I saw there's a table on page 20 (Men, Money & Material) that seems to sum up the huge task facing the CSA where it lists the Union advantag...

WDS needs to have someone look at the coding and that will take some time. It would be helpful to know if others are seeing the issue I raised for Peninsula in that or other titles. It could also help if people check the Victory Dialog in their games to see if other odd things are happening in it fo...

I recently to WDS about an issue I noticed with a game incorrectly recording supply losses for the wrong side. I said: "I recently completed Peninsula 08a - The Seven Days (Turn 68/407) and at the end the Victory Dialog showed supply losses as USA-0 and CSA-471. However, I do not recall the CSA...

* Any hex containing a Supply Source." ['Supply Source' does not mean supply wagon.] I did not realize this. Still links the trigger to supply though. No, not supply. You can not trace your way out of isolation to a supply wagon. It must be 'Supply Source', which are not present in most scenar...

I always have the Isolation Rule checked. It would seem very unrealistic to me for units not to be penalised in some manner when they are completely surrounded. In terms of the points raised in the OP I would say: 1. Agreed, a 'check' for both sides would be better. If such a thing could be implemen...

"I have no doubt, just like my fellow officers, that we will win the war."
Ahhh, what unbridled optimism (unjustified though it is).
