As the CSA Cabinet Secretary I have taken it upon myself to award Gen. Strickler with his Confederate Legends Medal for reaching 5,000 OBD points in the Department of Records. Gen. Strickler joins an illustrious group of Confederate officers who have reached this plateau: John Dragan, Nick Kunz, Tom...

Gaming differences of opinion are acceptable but civility should be observed. If members are unable to agree on gaming terms they should both give a little more or just not play and move on. Preferably just give a little more. Just a game.

On the most basic level possible it is always easier to travel around a city or town than it is to travel through it. Otherwise why do we have bypasses for cities? I never thought about it in relation to the games but the topic is intriguing from a gaming and historical perspective. Because each tow...

I don't get how you can say the ratings should be based on the battle itself as opposed to the performance of the unit leading up to the battle. As Blake said in sports you rate teams based on their performance before the game and then only reevaluate after the game. If we are refighting history the...

I think being a fly on the wall for a conversation between Sherman and Forrest would have been most interesting.

But Halleck and Sherman had a cozy friendship for many years. Not a likely duo.

That's fine that the AoT got the title of first runner up and the "best" army in the Confederacy.

The ANV was voted the Greatest Army in the Club for the 25th consecutive time - so I am told. Twenty-five times the AoT has been runner-up. Quite a record.
