Responses to Various comments: 1) We have options as to just when to implement the new rule and it will done in a manner that prevents any temporary imbalance of the Cabinet members. 2) The Club created a Recruiting Officer Position in 2001 which is presently held by Jason Campbell. He is actively ... |

The rightsizing seems like a good idea, and the interim secretaries makes sense. I like the idea as less is more. The competition for such positions, as mentioned, would make actual campaigning possible potentially. Overall, I can add nothing at this time but like the solutions presented. As for Pau... |

“Rebel Yell” of sorts has been used through the ages. Any scream or intense sound (i.e. bagpipes or drums) in conjunction with others to intimidate or pray upon an enemies morale is nothing new. “There isnt anything new under the sun”. In fact, we even coach our kids here when becoming “set” on the ... |

Overall, I find the new toolbar better now that I'm getting used to it although not to any significant degree. I often still use 'menu selections' for many things in stead of 'buttons'. I can see that adjusting to it from the 'Classic' toolbar would be more problematic. I agree. The new toolbar is ... |

If you use a weapon (gun, Molotov cocktail, whatever) in a war then you are a combatant. If you are in a hospital, taking cover in a theatre/shopping centre/non-militarised residential area/etc or fleeing a city via an agreed evacuation corridor then you are a civilian. [Some documented war crimes ... |

William Sherman A doctrinal and strategic visionary, William Sherman was also a charismatic leader of troops, but he did suffer tactical lapses that on occasion proved costly, as at the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain (June 27, 1864). His profound understanding of the essential brutality of war may hav... |

Totally concur Paul! Both of them with Clausewitz are still a pinnacle part in the Bundeswehr principles. Concerned that the author probably thinks Wellington won Waterloo. [Start the bar room brawls now! ] Wellingtons won Waterloo? Thats silly Scott, everyone knows that a pair of boots c... |

Bragg is the Captain Sobel (Band of Brothers) of the Confederacy, Great trainer but poor commander.
It would be a great misstep though to underrate training. |

If you think about it in the context mentioned, we and they would have all been instruments of the gods. Their, and our, belief and part in the matter is thus arbitrary. |

He was the common soldiers General. His calling was leading men into battle. Wearing the same dirty clothing and suffering the elements the same that they did. He complained of stomach problems and ailments as a professor, but it was the war that cured him, his purpose. He had the faith that no matt... |
