Just reported it. You da man. Thanks. I can't believe the change is on purpose. I don't actually believe it either. My point was it's a bug or a(n involuntary) design decision depending on your perspective. Whether the game rules should reflect what is in the manual or whether the manual should doc... |

Logrus reported he didn't find the bug in his game. Those who are interested in this issue may pay attention to fatigue in your 4.0 game. It would be good if we knew if this happened in others' games. I just did a test scenario in 4.0 Gettysburg and I am not replicating this. Fatigue is working nor... |

Everybody keeps saying to just use EFOW and problem is solved. Some of us strongly dislike EFOW so that is not a solution for us. What don't you like about it? The LOS aspect or seeing less information on enemy strength? I am curious because I have thought it would be interesting to design or play ... |

Last thing: writing as someone who has been on occasion disappointed by the JTS/WDS titles I have bought (looking at you, Naval Battles Midway), I really don't think these issues are a big deal. 1. LOS: Just play with extreme or don't cheat. Normal LOS in 4.0 works almost like extreme FOW anyway. Th... |

I had originally read this post as saying that there had been a turn after the movement to enable 'fatigue recovery' and that the unit had simply recovered all fatigue as good luck [Gettysburg Parameter Data would permit a 20% chance night fatigue recovery]. If I'm now reading this correctly you ar... |

Ashdoll Ren said: "I think it already makes the whole fatigue rules invalid and pointless in both day and night turns." Wow, this is BIG (and horrible) news and, as you also point out, in direct conflict with the manual. It is far worse than the FoW issue because at least that can be avoi... |

Each implementation will have pros and cons. The pdts are already a mess, what with lack of standard weapon values and multiple pdts per title. Changing or modding the pdt to meet individual tastes and scenario designer intent will make the lack of standardization worse. |

I am playing 031-630314-[A]Port Hudson-20 in Forgotten Campaign and am concerned about the fatigue recovery . I noticed that some moved units can recover fatigue normally. And I tested it in Gettysburg 4.0 and there is the same problem. Is it a bug? ( Well, with Night Movement Fatigue on and Higher... |

There are currently other options with the pdt without eliminating trenches entirely. Trenches can be enabled but the trench value could be raised such that a trench could only be created by a unit entrenching for half a day or so rather than over the course of an hour as it is now. Additionally the... |

A similar issue existed in 3.0 with Extreme Fog of War. During replays the Extreme Fog of War rule was not enforced for the LOS tool. You could check LOS from any hex during the replay as if the rule were not selected. I wonder if it is related to the current bug. |
