<Salute> Sir, A very fine observation in respect of the sawbones, Civil War medical facilities and indeed the family connection in saving lives. I am pleased to hear of your recovery from the painful episode you endured and the wonders of medical excellence in our time, albeit doubtless, an expensiv...

If you are comfortable with Windows Explorer you go to the Saves folder of the game. Find the file name, in this case My Campaign.cpf and open it with Notepad or any plain text editor you use. You should see something like this. Campaign Gettysburg-weather.cpd 0 3 B1 0 0 0 -1 -1 ----- PEM Header --...

Kent <salute>

Welcome to the ACWGC.

That was a wonderful bio you penned and refreshing to read such I might add, well done sir.

You will doubtless find many here, on both sides of the divide, as opponents, friends and comrades all, in any event.

My own opinion is that the key to a successful MP game (one played to an agreed upon and friendly conclusion) is having at least two of the teammates on a single team being actual "friends" in the Club with an established relationship. When friends join forces they are much more likely to...

A good MP game to select depends on the number of players involved + the length of the game you wish to play (not to mention finding a title everyone has in common). Some setups really work well for 2 on 2 and others for maybe 3 on 3 or 4 on 4. Most MP games occur at Antietam, Gettysburg, or Chicka...

Richard,

Your points about Big MP games are noted. I assume you are familiar with and have both read and viewed Blake's Multiplayer Games ? They have all you refer to and more.......in spades.

That is great and welcome news, Sir.

I encourage the commanders of the Army of Tennessee to heed the sound advice and take note of the wise words of Blake, and spread the word throughout their commands.

<Salute> Sir, That is both good and bad news, good for gaming but poor for membership. I propose the onus to attract new members should not fall solely upon the Admin of the ACWGC. Every serving member of the Club should make it their objective to encourage friends, gaming buddies and wargaming cont...
