The push along the sunken road continues, Union troopers falling back in some order. Johnsons' fresh division coming in now, where to place them.... Culps Hill fight has weakened, now awaiting a rush from the [XIICORPS]. Reinforcements will make it a moot point, mused Rodes... Sporadic fire from cav... |

Andersons' division now held the sunken road, was clawing at the remnants of several union formations. More and more artillery wheeled onto the field. The town was now almost taken, a few routed units to deal with. The major fighting was now on the Hill itself, with swirling fighting from end to end... |

As MG Johnson rode down the pike towards the town, his band playing "Bonnie Blue Flag", he could not help but to feel elated. It was always thus for him. The sound of guns, the rebel yells, soon it would be his time.... Rodes was in good position to defend, the [XIICORPS] would have to take some cas... |

Rodes now held Culps Hill firmly, with cavalry moving to secure his left. The yankee [XIICORPS] forming in his front, but not cohesive. We can move them... Early had won the south of the town and made steady progress towards that sunken road, pushing Baxter and Smith back against their own guns. "Ma... |

"Confound it man! Who ordered that artillery to unlimber in the town?????" Rodes had taken the hill, Culps. Now as he surveyed the ground in front of him he saw the forming lines of blue, probably Slocum. It would be a fight to hold there, but many many grey-clad troops were pushing to consolidate t... |

The fight for Culps Hill was short. Where was the [XIICORPS]..??? Seminary Ridge now in tow, a push towards the town by Pender. Anderson about to throw his weight into the fight. Only a few cannon holding the town, could they hold? Will the yankee go for the guns, or try to pull back to Cemetery Hil... |

The push to Culps Hill continued, as Early brought his strong division online. Pender and what was left of Heth finally seemed to secure Seminary Ridge after a vicious fight with Wadsworth. With the arrival of Anderson in theatre, it looked like a thrust towards the town was now immenent, with the a... |

The fight at the seminary was not going well. Heth was in a quandry...wat to do, what to do.... But General Rodes was making good progress towards Culps Hill, and early was forming to advance against the town itself. That pesky cavalry was about to get a big surprise north of town. But too many batt... |

The shift to the left was in full swing. Opposition was negligible and progress steady. A concerted rush to Seminary Ridge gained that ground for the second time this day. More and more troops arriving in the theatre. Rodes began the wheel towards the town, an attack en-echelon now possible. > > 2PM... |

With the arrival of the corps artillery and Anderson, a push to the town from the pike seems sure. The Iron Brigade is tiring and dwindling, a shame. Pender pushes forward. To the north, Rodes shifts into position for a 5PM attack, and Early hurries down to support Rodes. Rodes ponders that the Unio... |
