What determines how and how far a unit moves after it routs ?

Does it help to have units behind the front line in order to decrease the distance a unit routs?

I am working on ways to deploy a brigade to limit routing

ALL in my opinion Rout Limit on ruins this game.. Are we so obsessed with winning that we do not want to recreate history. I would like to have the opinion of my fellow Club Members as to Ideal MP Battles i will offer

Antietam 047 Hagerstown March ( Blind ) as it is the only one I have (and currently playing ) attempted to Play save for a 5 turn or so go at the 7 days that fell apart

All I really enjoy the MP Gaming aspect . I wish In a future Update They could design a MP facet to the Game where By you select MP followed By Side and troops you are commanding. It would take the game to a whole new level Example Army Commander sees the whole Picture and commands perhaps the Caval...
