My position is that the clutter, as someone aptly put it, has a detremental effect. I do enjoy accuracy but to add clutter that will not make much difference in game battles is not my choice. Basically the point I was trying to make. There is always a balance that is needed. I just think that the mo... |

I'd be wary of a poll here that reflects the overall positions correctly. Only a relatively few people respond here. I know several people who dislike the 1-2 gun units in Gettysburg and Peninsula. To the point were the decision to play the game is put into question. I dislike both games because of ... |

My opinion is why not. Units will not surrender in the game therefore you need to eliminate them, and if you want to prevent from routing away because you are shooting them down you need to surround them. You cannot breakdown big regiments to do the job so you need to use other units to do the job. ... |

Ok guys. I am trying to get the move, def fire AI, melee play going but I can't seem to get it to work. Gettysburg MDF and ADF on checked off and it has manual defensive fire. Both off and they give single phase, auto fire MDF off and ADF on and I get single phase, auto fire MDF on ADF Off - I get m... |

One thing that I would like to see is a surrender check. Under certain conditions enemy units would surrender. I think that this would remove the need to melee and/or shoot at a unit to extinction. Necessitating complete surround so that they don’t rout away. Perhaps surrendered units would provid... |

Ok Guys enough is enough. Please do not post anymore on this thread. This is for everyone. I am being pressure by many members telling me and the Cabinet to delete this thread. I have to react to complaints as it is my and the Cabinets job to keep a semblance of order in the club. Any further... |

I do have a question about Action points and their expenditure for combat. In my scale of 1 mile per hex and 12 hour turns, would it bee too much to have units keep attacking until they are exhausted or run out of Action points or do they attack (melee) only once. I have fire (skirmish) combat, Bomb... |

These are good points. I do have variable action points in my game. An excellent quality unit would get the maximum. A fair quality unit with good command would probably get the maximum. A poor quality unit with great command with no undue fatigue or morale problems would receive a good number. The ... |

A very good start and a big thank you. With more and more people pitching in it can only get better. The Cabinet, specifically Don Adams, should be contributing a monthly article about Cabinet stuff. Mostly it is pretty mundane but Don promises to fancy it up. I know that the FAQ section will get ro... |
