Shocking that no fine Union Officer has risen to take up the guage of this rebel.

That said, I am willing to do so. Prarie Grove, either campaign or Stand alone battle, I am at your service sir.

I'm a touch concerned by any mention of "club house rules"... I'm not sure if that is the intention of this post. I'd originally taken it as a "suggestion", rather than saying that this style of play should be mandated upon the club members. As a suggestion, I have no issue with it (not my thing, bu...

Gentlemen, it's coming time for my annual trek to chasing nearly 100 kids around Church Camp. (Hm.. maybe I should try to teach them the Manual of Arms, might kill some time). Anyway, I may get a few turns out the door tomorrow, but otherwise, I'll be gone until Friday, and since I'll need to do a w...

My computer is acting up, and sometimes I can get it to work, other times not (actually, it's my cdrom... everything else is fine). Depending on how my time goes, and if the shop has a replacement in stock (the joys of living in the boonies), it may be a few days before I can get game turns back out...

Hm, for sure, a unit that is both isolated and routed will "surrender" when any unit melees it (even a unit with only one man left).

I'm also fairly sure (but not positive) that it's an automatic negative modifier on morale checks.

Gents, the "new member" princessfatu Spammed me twice overnight with the typical sort of thing that they have money in Cote d'Ivore they want me to help them get out of the country. She's using the boards "email" function to do this. Please delete this user. Major General Gary McClellan 1st Division...

One thing to be aware of... I've never driven it directly, but I'm guessing that Wilson's Creek is maybe a 3 hour drive south (maybe a bit less). I'll need to get my schedule sorted (and permission to take vacation), but I'm hoping to hit both WC and Pea Ridge on my way home. Major General Gary McCl...

Um.... nope, and I've uninstalled/reinstalled on more than one occasion.

Only thing I can think of is this... are you installing from a different drive? (ie, is the CD now E as opposed to D)

Gen Dee Dubya... You do realize that is no more fearsome way for you to hurt assault Gen. Ludwig's morale than to limit his verbosity. Take away his women, take away his booze, even take away his bullets, and he'll be as happy as can be. Take away his ability to barrage us in a torrent of words? He ...

Gentlemen of the Union! This is hopeful news! I predict that the rebs will spend so much time trying to read Gen. Ludwig's neverending flow of words that they'll forget to set pickets, order ammo and other small bits and pieces of the military art! Major General Gary McClellan 1st Division, XXIII Co...

I think it's fairly clear that there's not really a great deal more room for discussion, in that you're pretty obviously committed to realism at all costs, while I tend towards playability being very important (though not to the level of playing Axis and Allies). I do wish though, that we had the ch...

My concern is that you'd end up spending as much time on the "secondary" parts of a battle as you do in the real meat of it. Moving around a 10 man Cav detachment takes as much time as a full infantry battalion (more actually, because of extra movement points available). You'd get lost in so much mi...
