I suppose it's possible to do this, but anyone who ever does this to me, may as well count on it being the last game they ever play against me.
quote:
T... |

Since in another thread, I said that there are "bigger fish to fry", I thought I best post... What is my "big fish", what is the one change I think would most benefit the engine? (This is more for the unphased play, but applies to both) That, the possibility of taking disruption in the offensive pha... |

I see your point, but considering that the change is something that would have to be "hardwired" into the code (ie. The campaign save file would have to be modded to include bridge damage, and then when the new campaign started, it would likewise have to be modded to look for the damage to bridges),... |

You know, it would be a nifty addition to the engine to allow a chance of "friendly fire" in the ADF... Something like this "A unit which appears within the LOS of a friendly unit may be fired upon in the first hex within which it is in said LOS. The lower the quality of the firing unit, the higher ... |

Technically, the airport in KC is "Kansas City International", though I'm not sure how many international flights there are. That said, you can go from there direct to about any major airport in the US, so if you fly into NYC, you can then change planes to KC. No problem [:D] Hm, I've not driven it ... |

the second one is "Sultana's Bones" from Corinth. That, and a couple from Ozarks are the best he's done.

Mike, The problem is that right now, there isn't even a "question" as to what the arty will do. It will be disrupted, period. As it stands, the game engine actively discourages anything resembling historical artillery practice. You can't put them in the front line, because they'll get meleed (though... |

Bill Peters has some comments on it, I think they are down in the smoking room. From what he's said, he was less than impressed.

Actually 2 and 4 It should be an option, and absolutely should not apply to arty. ETA: If you are going to "insist" on this, then there should be at least a percent chance that a unit, instead of routing through a unit, will instead stop and rally before fleeing through the enemy unit, to simulate t... |

Anyone who plays against me (when I get Shiloh, or when it is patched into the new games) Consider that a Mandatory Option (oxymoron that may be). It doesn't sound like it, but I also hope that it means that all melees start a "final fire" Brig. General Gary McClellan 1st Division, XXIII Corps AoO,USA |

ETA: remember, that HPS won't have these games out for general release for a few weeks... not sure when, but these must be the two "Mystery" games released at Tillercon. Actually, I'm less interested in Shiloh proper, than in what the "other" battles in the game will be. Will it include Ft. Donelson... |
