| IMO, there were actually very few melees involving hand to hand combat in the ACW. For that matter, even in the earlier periods of the Napoleonic and the Early American Wars, when the use of the bayonet was emphazied, there were not that many actual melee combats. | Might be worth a survey sometime to get some demographics on the club members. My main problem is driving distance as I live in NC. I supect this may be a common denominator. | I'm a flipper myself. I watch my opponents turn in 2D and then review the overall map in 2D while I do my planning. I switch down to 3D to move becuasse I don't trust the AI to move (especially the cav). I like to watch the firing in 3D of course as well. I am also a big fan of Rolf's regimental gra... |

| First of all have you verified that sound is working for other non-gaming functions? If not you may have a corrupted driver for your sound card. You would need to reinstall it to repair the system.
