How much night fatigue is suffered by each unit per turn if they march the maximum distance? Is it less if they don't use their maximum movement? Is it different from one HPS ACW game to another? Do units with 24 movement hexes suffer any more fatigue than a unit with 12? Maj Gen Ned Simms VI/AoS/US...

Thank you, as that worked. We only had to delete the PBEMAIL.XXX and .YYY files and replay the last turn.

We are quite a few turns into a game that just resumed after a 2.5 month delay. On about the second exchange of files following the resumption of play, the following has occurred: - The replay from my opponent consists of no units showing at the start (including my own units are not showing) - but u...

Gen Mihalik, you and Kelly should love Worth Dying For so take a look at it. It's the ANV cavalry corps against the AoP cavalry corps on a small portion of the Gettysburg map that you won't be familiar with. You can't be meek and win this one and if it isn't an interesting battle to fight then it is...

Has anyone played the custom scenarios for HPS Gettysburg entitled Wheatfield to Roundtop (4 scenarios) and Worth Dying For (2 scenarios)? I'm not aware of anyone (in this club) having played them other than the two testers and I would like some feedback - even if it's "Huh?" or worse. Maj Gen Ned S...

Well button my britches, I ain't been this puffed up since ... never mind since when or what 'cause this is a family rated forum. I've got some good corn liquor rotting in a barrel out back of this place and now's a good time to chop the top off of it and start dipping some glasses. I don't know wha...

Notso, you may have earned 9 months because the Doc says that the rabbit died for both Miss Lulu and her twin, Miss Tutu. You lucky man ... more than 900 pounds of pure love and more warmth for those upcoming cold winter nights than you could ever deserve. There are enough blubber folds among those ...

We just got connected to the telegraph tonight. It's been a trial because after spending almost three months so far back in the woods in total seclusion, Martha thought that she could still run around without the need for clothes at the new place (still pretty far out but you can at least detect som...

Gen Adams, I get the same error message that Gen Mishurda does and I'm using Internet Explorer. Mine is still at whatever the standard settings were when I got the computer. Maybe there is a change or two that we have to make to the default settings in order to use Java. And by the way, sir, regardl...

Mrs Schwartz had two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Marty. Mrs Schwartz also won the ribbon at the county fair every year for her delicious pies. Regretfully, the daughters were as different as daylight and dark as Melissa sympathized with the Confederacy while Marty was a staunch supporter of the...

If you know of any changes that need to be made now (can probably make changes through 3 or 4 July), please forward them to me so that the Link Express will be as up to date as possible whi...

Cadet Staker, I don't see you on the club rolls yet. We are a club that loves to play, but you need to wait until you have completed the club training at either West Point or Vicksburg Military Institute before you start a club game. It will help both you and your future opponents to have gone throu...
