Rich, lets just say that her enthusiasm for the amount of time that I spend on the computer hasn't dampened over the years. About the only way that I survive is that she knows that the computer would be replaced once again with the golf course and guess which one is cheaper and has more 'home' time....

Don, you are correct as the Down South version is not even club sponsored at this point. I started to put together something similar this year but after corresponding with Rich and finding out that there could be a TillerCon event, then I decided not to interfere with it. The success of these Tiller...

If you would be interested in attending an ACWGC Conference held Down South in 2006 then this thread is for you. Voice your opinion as to when and where you would like for it to be held. WOULD YOU POSSIBLY ATTEND: Yes or No WHEN: Give month(s) that you would prefer for it to be held WHERE: If I’m ...

Okay, now I'm convinced that HPS actually is serious about their ACW Campaign series. It's time to order the rest of their ACW battles so that I have a complete set as of now and it'll be easier to keep up in the future. Let's see - I'm 57 years old now and I should be able to play until I'm 92 so y...

Thank you for the clarification. 99% of those who want to use a different name have no malice at heart and don't use it for malice. Sometimes, we all don't agree though on what is wrong and what is not and the club has to define the boundary lines. As originally said, I can live with whichever way t...

"As to changing your name on the official club record site that will soon be coming on line, it ain't gonna happen unless an Army Commander or above does it for you." Thank you Don and I agree with that but now we're getting down to the source of the problem in the past. What does the club say shoul...

So I take it that the end result of this thread is that the club doesn't care if I change my name to Threadbare and thus Ned Simms disappears from the OOB and Muster and forums and is replaced with Col Threadbare who keeps the OOB points earned by Ned Simms, just as long as the name change is announ...

Congratulations - the stickies at the top were a good idea and quickly implemented. Now to address another similar matter and it doesn't make any difference to me what the decision is as long as it is applied the same throughout the club (obviously, it hasn't been in the past although I don't have t...

Training is required unless approval is granted to bypass it. The approval to bypass it is usually only granted to former club members etc that already have proven that they know how to create and exchange the files and have human opponent experience. The problem is that there isn't anyone apparentl...

Wow! There goes a good bit of my personal history - maybe up to 50 battles worth. Do they need an honor guard during shipment?

But ... this hotel/spa/casino is proposed for a supposedly unhistoric spot of ground three miles northeast of town along with other major conference and business facilities being built there. Am I missing something? Are we saying that the town of Gettysburg shouldn't have any other employment or att...

Although I play most of the time with the speakers turned off, my vote is for HPS Gettysburg. I love the soothing music with no words to it. The doctor said that it would be bad for my health to listen to stimulating music while I was leading a charge into a battery firing grapeshot. However, I'm on...

COURT IS IN SESSION! Take your seats. Who is that? Not Al Amos again! What's that Al? That's a $30 fine, sir. What's that you say, Al? That's another $50 fine, sir. I don't believe that you said that, Al! That's contempt of court and gets you 7 days of free bed and board. Col Ned Simms 3/2/VI/AoS Bl...

It's done, Gen Mallory. Now I brought a few friends along for those free drinks. Do you want to set up tents and bring in more bar maids or have them file by the bar single file for their free drink? Listen up close, Boys, to what Gen Dee Dubya says cause he ain't the type to repeat hisself, repeat ...
