I was an Army Georgia boy/officer, until sent west to the Army of Alabama - roll tide. The Army of Alabama completed 447 battles in a year easy, hell General John Dragan (AoA) did more than that by himself. The Vicksburg Arms? Who in the world tore down the fine Natchez Trace Tavern and built this new place? Are those doilies on the bar? You let Cameron get control of things and this is what happens. I can't even find a spittoon in this place. For those of you still kicking from the Army of the Missis... |

Considering that portions of Lee's Army were along the Antietam Creek from September 15 until the start of the battle two days later it is surprising that defensive works were never constructed. Especially since his back was to a river and he was badly outnumbered. Was this more a result of the atti... |

I said it once and I will say it again... we are wayyyy too alike for our own good. I do love OTR but I prefer the comedies of Abbott and Costello, Martin and Lewis, Burns and Allen, and the always great Jack Benny. Throw in a little mystery from the Shadow or Suspense and you have yourself some ent... |

We are excellent sailors, sir. We just prefer to fight on land to be close to our distilleries. You can only bring so much booze aboard a ship before it becomes less a warship and more a pleasure cruise. Until Cameron's experiments with turning seawater into whiskey come to fruition we will likely a... |
