Bill, I have interests in one of several campaigns/battles but I don't know if it fits what you are looking for. First, my definition of phased play is all options on (if that's what you call phased play then we're okay so far). Second, what I'm interested in isn't necessarily so short or medium len...

What's that you say? My fly is open!!!! Well don't strain yourself looking, sonny, 'cause it ain't been buttoned in 20 years. Now is that all that you woke me up for? So the Records Site has been reopened, has it. Then somebody had better update the Link Express. That's My job. I don't know anybody ...

Nobody is interested in First Bull Run, you say! Up until we stopped keeping records, the Rebs won it 120 times, there were 24 draws, and the Yanks won it 121 times. My play style is such that I can win the impossible ones and lose the 'for sure' ones. What do you want - some corn squeezin's to enti...

I've never played this one as the Union Commander and look forward to it. Want a Reb willing to play with all options on - no mercy. I'll lead my band of pirates right down the main street of Richmond after this one is over. I'm slow in my old age so I could do as good as a turn a day to start (not ...

Kelly, I don't have the foggiest idea how good of a job that you did at West Point except that the doors always managed to stay open. However, if you put on a clinic for them like you did every time that you played me, then even the dumbest of the dumbest (that's right, worse than dumb and dumber) h...

Some of us have this thing called "gumption" and some don't. Well I've been a member of this club for a little better than 7 years. I enjoy the club and I enjoy the games and I enjoy the people. However I don't get the time to play as much as I would like. That's where the "gumption" enters the pict...

This is gonna hurt because I like to play the full battles instead of the short scenarios, but what the hey, it won't be the first time that I've inflicted pain upon myself. If I complete 200 turns with a Major Victory then I get 57 OBD points for my victory. If I complete 100 turns with a Major Vic...

With this increase in pay, Martha and I will be able to expand the number of stills ... uh, medicinal furnaces that we operate. We sell our 'medicine' by the barrel to all of the saloons so that colds and flu will never invade the body of an ACWGC member. Stay healthy and drink up boys. Lt Gen Ned S...

Well, I'm glad to hear that someone else is having trouble converting from BG to HPS games. Yes, I love the large maps and new use of cavalry but the differences in meleeing, defensive line strength needs, terrain features, and use of artillery is keeping the seat of my pants downright airy. Don't y...

The Master List of Games disappeared with the demise of the old club record system in 2004 so the Scenario Listings only cover the TS games for a few years up to July 2004. The HPS games are not organized in such a manner to make tracking them easy. There are so many scenarios and it is difficult to...

Now you've hurt my feelings!!!!! For years now, my butt has been referred to as a mural. Do you realize how much effort (and food) goes into making such a masterpiece, and you refer to it as just a poster. Sniff, sniff, I'll take these two pies and go console myself. Yummm, buttermilk pie, my favori...

The staff agrees with you. Are you the one that's been spreading those pictures around? [:D] Next time, I'd like an opportunity to screen them first.

80 fatigue points for a night of marching doesn't sound like much of a penalty. I (and the staff in the tents closest to mine) generally accumulate that much fatigue just from scratching my butt during the night. If the units go straight into combat then it was well worth while to have them availabl...
