As for artillery maybe it would be best to simply add supply wagons for artillery and also to force the ammo features onto artillery, currently you get artillery only out of ammo when you isolate them even when no artillery ammo is left. When it works for them like it works for infantry & cavalr...

Well it didn't hold up to Gettysburg but wasn't so bad overall, we can be glad for any Civil War movie but I guess after this one who knows when someone will try it again if ever at all.
Terrible I would call this, although the first 10 seconds are hilarious:

I updated the link to AutoHotkey(http://ahkscript.org/) as the designer stopped working on it years back, meanwhile some users of the programs community started developing it further and you can find the latest version under the new link.

Thanks Rich, do you maybe still have the notes for the scenario design of this title around? Maybe there would be something in it why the schedule is the way it is. I haven't looked into scenario design but I thought that just no new maps could be added, so the OOBs were locked too? Is there anythin...

This thread is intended as a collection of helpful tools in regard to the Civil War series(but I guess also all other HPS/JTS games). AutoHotkey http://ahkscript.org/ This tool helps to cover the ground where the games do not provide any hotkeys, personally I haven used it till now but I see on a di...

Indeed if the base of information about them and the impact they had is so slim it is hard to give them a bigger part in these games without landing in the area of guesswork, something that seems most often not the case in John Tillers games. BTW I think it would be good to make this sticky, can any...

That the calculation is based on 1000 never came to my mind although it might explain why in my current game despited a higher breastwork value I rarely see such breastwork constructed as my units are just 100-250 men strong. BTW I think it would be good to make this sticky, can any moderator do this?

Well a lot maybe don't vote because another option is missing:
"Never played a Battleground game."
Personally the series didn't show on my radar ever and I only got some infos about it as I was getting into the HPS/JTS games.

Indeed it seems to be an interesting topic although much overlooked, I just came across this because of some mentioning in the Day-by-Day Thread of General Simms.

Do these numbers come close to the ones from the book?
