A Union officer (who shall remain nameless) wanted a divorce. He told the judge, "I just can't take it any more. Every night she's out until way after midnight, just going from bar to bar."
The judge asked, "What was she doing?"
The officer replied, "Looking for me." |

So who won this hotly contested battle?
After the Rebs being in the "Minor Victory" category for much of the battle, the Yanks were able to pull it back into a Draw near the end.
I think General Hampel is planning to submit an After Action report with details. |

To help with General Meyer’s speedy recovery I have sent him 1 Gallon of my very special reserve Chateau de Goat 1863 and a dozen of Mrs Miggins pork pie’s, which contain her secret ingredient: pork. Well done to those who have stepped up. General McOmish, I am sure you mean well, but I have sample... |

The battle was riveting even though I saw most of it from a field hospital. Nothing like seeing four divisions of Rebs coming for me as I am trying to get the artillery up a hillside. I did not scream (too loud). Where is that bourbon ... Lt. Weppner Lt. Weppner, It's easy to become disoriented whe... |

Truth be told, we are just one gun away from wiping out 2 whole batteries of your artillery, no...and you know that blue thunder us gonna pound away these last turns. 8) I commend your artillery... |

*chuckles at Colonel Campbell's latest "update" on the battle* Apparently you've been getting your information about this battle by reading "Harper's Weekly" again. As usual, journalist graphics slant facts. The "artistry" (if it can be called that) you presented makes ... |

WAIT!!!!!!!! Colonel Swanson????????? Was he demoted? Shirking his duties in the face of the enemy? Drunk on the field... AGAIN????? Cowardice????? Not at all. I think he is designated "Colonel" in the game, because that was his rank when the battle began. He has since been promoted, due ... |

I would say so. Of course, we won't know for sure for another 8 turns or so. |

Sir!!!!! I WILL NOT have you question the gallantry of my Buckeyes! We did INDEED , sir, come under artillery fire. In two volleys I lost 48 noble, brave men! If your gunners cannot break the will and spirit of Buckeyes as we crossed the bridge in high style, sir... please don't credit your flea in... |

"something tells me that they are made down south because . . . "
I'm sure a little thing called 'the blockade' had nothing to do with it. We have learned to be resourceful! |

No one has mentioned Col. Weppner going down. At least, from the Rebel lines we saw him fall from his steed. Hopefully it was simply a temporary incapacitation - I would hate to see such a gallant officer saunter off this mortal coil. |

General you got the tavern name wrong it is called "The Dump of Trees" that's why us boys in the AoT set fire to it on a regular basis  While I admire the initiative and enthusiasm of your boys, I encourage you to direct their pyromaniacal tendencies toward the YANKEE taverns. Re... |

Colonel McWaters, it's always good to see veterans returning to the fold! Just don't let General McOmish trick you into that old the-newcomer-must-buy-the-next-round-of-drinks routine of his. He likes to brag about losing a leg at First Bull Run and having it replaced with a hollow one he fills up a... |
