Who knows? Maybe we'll get a shout out on his podcast!

Gentlemen, if anyone is interested, this is a top notch podcast done by Licensed Battlefield Guides James Hessler and Eric Linblade. They are currently in their second season and have covered a variety of topics from Picketts Charge to Culps Hill to "What if Jackson was at Gettysburg". htt...

I bought this a couple years ago and have not regretted it one bit. If you frequent Gettysburg, it's an absolute must.
It covers the Gettysburg Campaign from June 3rd all the way through 2nd Winchester, Aldie, Upperville, through Lee's retreat, crossing the Potomac on July 14th.

I'll be the first to admit I go full blown geek and listen to Civil War era music when I'm in battle on my PC. My current choice that I am enjoying is David Kinkade: The Irish Volunteer. I also enjoy the Camp Chase Fife and Drum Band and even some music by The Old Crow Medicine Show. Anybody else a ...

My pleasure, Scott! I dont know how much you are into audiobooks, but the reader of this trilogy is pretty good. His southern accents leave a little to be desired, but after awhile, you recognize the character by the voice he uses. Dwight, I also am not sure about his co-author. The combination of t...

*enters tavern, exhaling a large cloud of smoke from a rather nice cigar* Have to say I love what they have done with the place since General Miller's Comedy show. Brings to mind an incident that happened the night of the said offense. *pours tumbler full from a bottle of Old Crow* The ruckus from t...

Anyone a fan of the Gingrich trilogy? Although I enjoy Jeff Sharrah's novels, they seems to leave something of the "human element" out of them. These feel like a bit of fresh air. Of course, when you compare all Civil War fiction to Michael Sharrah, it seems like everybody comes up a littl...

Any of you gentlemen anxiously awaiting the release of Grand Tactician? They said sometime this summer but no defiant date.
