Brigadier General Don Vandergriff has been a very busy man this past year and he has earned the following awards putting our enemy to the sword:

For achieving over 1000 OBD points his first Joseph E. Johnston Medal of Recognition , It must be noted that 98% of these points were due to actions against the enemy.

For battlefield actions against the enemy, involving significant sacrifice, his first Order of the Purple Eagle.

For achieving over 25 victories against the enemy his first P.T.G. Beauregard Medal of Recognition

For his involvement in over 50 combat actions against the enemy he is awarded the CSA Combat Action Ribbon

General Vandergriff <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

I must admit I have not followed your activities within the Army of the Mississippi, however your achieving the majority of your OBD points at the expense of the oppressors shows your metal. Congratulations!

Highest regards,

Greg

based off of your reluctance to battle in our game.....
that could be a very long long time....
kinda of like finding a needle in a haystack....

Lt General Miller,
Tim,

Funny how you want me to race across the battlefield and crash pell mell into the wall of Rebs that have hardly moved from the map edge in 45 turns! Now that is plain craziness!

I spent the day watching Jack Benny reruns... waiting... just hoping I'd get to move my boys a little closer to you today! No such luck! The battle file never came!

Colonel Olinsky <salute>

Is there something wrong with waiting for the Yanks to race into a wall of lead?

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

Why certainly not Sir... it is a tactic frequently employed on both sides of the Mason Dixon line!

I was merely pointing out the fact that Lt General Miller was casting a negative light on his opponent who had actually been the one speeding to battle while his boys slept in the shade of some tall pine trees on a hillside far, far away! As if we were dilly dallying and it was our fault the battle was being delayed!

Greg...Greg....Greg.....

have you disobeyed the orders by your Gen Meyer and hitting the hair tonic again....
you know it turns your teeth green
seems I have crossed 1/2 of the map and still have yet to run unto your troops
actually I gave up my strategic positions to go yankee hunting
knowing your blue boys would never come to the mountain
its okay.....it was boring waiting on your troops which were not coming....

I may have to borrow Nicodemus to light a fire under your boys

Tim

Lt General Miller,

Yum Yum... good hair tonic!

As for my teeth... I haven't seen them since I locked them onto the coat tails of a retreating Rebel General named Miller... who then promptly ran off into the woods to my front and disappeared... never to be seen again!

General Miller <salute>

Colonel Olinsky has shown a tendency to avoid contact in some of the matches between Gator Alley and his previous command. For our part, we got tired of chasing him and pulled back; why play into his game and spread yourself thin?

Highest regards,
