As the storm rages outside, the young Officers' chatter of future conquests continue until the wind blows open the door with a shadowy figure walking deliberately to the bar. As he sweeps his overcoat away from his face to display a dark battle harden face....the tavern quiets to an eerie silence. The figure orders a drink ..... finishes it and leaves 40 gold pieces on the bar and walks back into the storm.
The Officers thinking outloud wonder who this mysterious person could be........
bartender answers "young gentlemen that a be ole BG Tim Miller, he has seen many a fight, some thought he was dead..others thought he went to Europe to convalence....but be the truth....I believe he been to Hades to fight the devil himself and is back to fight for the cause."
