General D.W. Mallory, serial # CSADM424, is hereby awarded his second

Samuel Cooper Medal of Service

for his long term service and work for the betterment of the CSA and the Army of Mississippi.
He is currently serving as Commander of the 6th Brigade, 3rd Division, I Corps Army of the Mississippi.

I take great pride in presenting him this award, given on this 18th day of May 1864.
