Congratulations on your recognition for participating in the Lieutenant's Cup! The purpose of the cup is to allow newly commissioned officers of each side an opportunity to enter battle quickly while being introduced to other newly commissioned officers of the opposite side. Your willingness to test your mettle immediately speaks highly of your commitment to the CSA and our cause.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

I'd like to thank all those who developed the idea for the Lt's Cup and the officers at VMI and their Union counterparts for administering it. It is a great way for a new lad like myself to get introduced to others new to the club.

I am a bit parched after a hard march. Any chance of getting a little something to wet the old whistle?
