Gentlemen of The Fine Army of Tennessee <SALUTE>

It now well after the festive season and we in the deep deep south have our drinking boots on and the BBQ’s turned on to maximum. So, whilst slow roasting a big fat union officer it gave me time to reflect a couple of important issues, one being “did the recipe say to leave the uniform on or off, and how well did our fine army perform in the past year. Well we did not do to badly at all, we fought and closed out 187 battles, made up of 56 Manoeuvrers, 2 VMI Manoeuvrers and 129 Battles (including 5 multi player battles). In the battles the honours were about even between us handsome, well dressed gentlemen and the slovenly cologne free Smurfs.

Major Victories = 43
Minor Victories= 8
Draws = 22
Minor Defeats = 14
Major Defeats = 43

Our most active officer was General John Dragan with 50 battles ended in 1863 (2019).

There are plenty of tournaments on the go, so if you can do participate. I am not sure what other tournaments are in the pipeline for this year, but Larry Mill will have something up his sleeve.

Lastly I would like to apologise for being a bit of slack Army Commander. Unfortunately, I had to go back to work (the curse of the drinking class), the good times had to end as my bank balance plummeted to near zero. Plus I have had to go back to running, I was starting to look like “Jabber the Hutt”, well more like “Jabber the Urban Sprawl”. I do like my beer/wine and food far too much.

All the best for this year’s battles and may you put the enemies of our fair Southern Land to the sword, and if not make sure you are at least having fun.
