Gentlemen of the fine Army of Tennessee, please welcome our new Army Commander - Brigadier General William Treuting. It is also my farewell from Army Command, but not our fine Army. So lets please step up to the bar and charge your glasses and or jugs - "Gent raise your glasses "I give you our new Commander, may he lead us to victory over the western Smurfs. So if someone would pass my my banjo I shall play some of my blue grass punk favorites. I have access to the CSA Express Card for the next few hours, so let thrash it hard.

Once I have recovered from my impending hangover I shall point my brigade in the direction of General Coma's command and the wilds of Missouri.

General McOmish <salute>

Welcomes and congratulations have already been conveyed to General Treuting on his appointment as Commander of the Army.

I wish to thank you and express my appreciation of your service as our Army Commander, notwithstanding my limited service to date, in our fine Army. It has been my honour to have served under your command and I have no doubt out paths shall cross, in the wilds of Missouri or Tennessee in the future as we continue to battle our Yankee foe and send them on their way. As long as we have bluecoats to our front and Old Tennessee Gold to our rear, all will be well in the world.

<Salute> Sir,

I'm always up for a little dancing music with my 'Texas Tea'!

General Treuting <salute>

That magnificent portrait will most definitely find pride of place in the Vicksburg Tavern Sir. I would respectfully observe that our best fighting (Army of Tennessee) invariably follows our best drinking !

Hard livin, ridin, fightin, drinkin and dyin be our 'Watchwords' Sir ! Indeed, in your new capacity as Commander you might wish to take it under consideration as the 'new motto' for the Army. Let it be our Battle Cry, to instill the fear of the Lord in our Enemy and the awe of our Southern brethern.

Your obedient servant, Sir,
